Cooking Led by Kelly Sharpe 2:00pm - 5:00pm 1st - 3rd grade LCS kitchen Limit 20 students Spanish Led by Starr Velasquez June 19-22 Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 12:00pm Kindergarten - 3rd grade In this cooking camp your student will try delicious new foods and recipes! Kelly Sharpe will introduce your student to the culinary arts. So, get ready to taste test some delectable new dishes and have fun trying the new recipes at home with your child. All recipes will be sent home at the end of the camp. June 26-29 Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 11:30am 4th - 6th grade Room 319 Come have fun with Señora Velásquez while learning Spanish at the same time. We will explore the Spanish world through games, crafts, music and more! We will even break open a piñata on the last day at our İFiesta Mexicana! In Robotics camp, your child will learn how to design, build and program robots using LEGO bricks and technology. Your child will gain new skills and an understanding of the engineering design process, all while having fun with friends. June 26-28 Monday - Wednesday 12:00pm - 4:00pm 4th - 6th grade Innovation Lab Limit 16 students Karate Led by Master Faett June 26-29 Monday - Thursday 12:00pm - 3:00pm 3 years - 3rd grade LCS small gym This program is based on incremental goal setting and basic coordination through martial arts techniques. Master Faett will take the students through basic blocks, kicks and strikes. Students will also learn about and practice respect, discipline and courtesy. At the end of the session, students will have an opportunity to earn their first belt, and showcase for their families the skills they have developed. Mr. Faett is a 6th degree black belt in taekwondo and a master level instructor with the American Taekwondo Association. Have you ever wanted to build a simple machine, control a robot, build really cool things with circuits or do cool experiments? Do you like to use your hands and experiment on the best ways to use materials to solve everyday problems? If so, join us for this handson laboratory of learning using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math to have lots of fun! We will have fun experimenting with circuits to make simple machines, little robots that follow your commands and other really cool challenges. 3 Summer Camp

Write it, light it, shoot it, and cut it... all during this fun-but-intense weeklong filmmaking crash course. Taught by the LCS "Video Guy" (awardwinning filmmaker, Scott Magie), this camp is great for any interested high school student, especially those considering careers in media, music, technology, marketing, photography, or film/tv production. The camp will conclude with a Black-Tie Screening & Awards Ceremony to present studentcreated work for parents and friends. This summer camp will focus on solid tennis fundamentals - teaching and drills focused on forehand, backhand, serving, volleys, overheads, return, court movement, competitive play & teamwork! Participants should bring their racquets, wear suitable tennis shoes and comfortable clothing and bring water and sun protection if needed. *Recognition awards & pizza party for all participants on the last day @5:30pm-6:00pm* Supervised Lunch Is your student participating in a morning and afternoon camp? Basketball Camp Led by Coaches Jason Salsbury and Chris Mustaine June 12-15 Monday Thursday 12:00pm 2:00pm Kindergarten - 3rd grade coed 2:30pm 5:00pm 4th 6th grade coed 2:30pm 5:00pm 7th 8th grade coed $65 per student LCS main gym Learn basic fundamental skills taught by LCS varsity basketball coaches Jason Salsbury and Chris Mustaine. The high school varsity basketball players will assist the coaches in teaching your child shooting, passing, ball-handling, defense, rebounding and conditioning/agility training. Advanced skills will be taught as age/skill level dictates. Participate in scrimmages against others in your age group/gender and have the opportunity to win various prizes through games and contests. Awards will be handed out at the end of each day and at the conclusion of camp. Youth Bike Camp Led by Garrett Anderson July 10-13 Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 12:30pm 4th - 6th grade coed Meet at Lansing Christian School Grab your bike, pack a water bottle, sunscreen, helmet and a bible and get ready to have some fun in the summer sun with Mr. Anderson. In this camp we will go around to the different parks in South Lansing on bike, play games and hear stories from God s word. Soccer Camp Led by Joel VandeKopple 9:00am - 11:00am 4th - 6th grade coed 9:00am - 11:00am 7th - 8th grade girls 9:00am - 11:00am 7th - 12th grade boys $65 per student LCS soccer field Coach VK will lead students in individual skill building activities as well as many small sided team games that are meant to build not only their physical soccer skills, but also establish within them a mental understanding of how to play the game of soccer. Bike Camp Led by Garrett Anderson June 26-29 Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 1:00pm 7th - 12th grade coed Meet at Lansing Christian School Come enjoy a week of exploring Lansing on the seat of your favorite velocipede. Bike camp is a mixture of long bike rides, bicycle safety training, playing at parks and visiting various points of interest along the Lansing River Trail with Mr. Anderson. Be sure to bring lots of water, a helmet and some spare change in case we stop for a snack along the way. 5 Summer Camp
