Introduction 1 Dear Under Armour All-American, Congratulations on being selected to play in the most prestigious high school lacrosse game in the country. This is your opportunity to display your talents in front of the entire lacrosse community including a national television audience on ESPNU. This booklet will provide information and your responsibilities for participating in the 2017 Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Game. Each player is responsible for booking their own travel to and from the event. Corrigan Sports will provide travel expense money which will be mailed to the player s home address after the event as detailed on the Travel page. Please make travel plans immediately to insure a timely arrival. We have set aside a block of rooms at the Hyatt Regency, our official hotel. Rooms are provided for each All-American. There is also a separate block of rooms for parents at the same hotel. Parents are responsible for their own travel and host costs. Info can be found on the Travel Page and event website. Each player is required to stay at the host hotel and will be assigned another player as a roommate. Players MUST attend all functions outlined in this package. Once on site at the host hotel, meals and transportation will be provided with the exception of the Welcome Dinner Friday night. Tickets must be purchased to attend the dinner. Important: Please log into the link provided to register. Your stats and headshot will be used for the website and event program. The following items will be mailed to you before the event giving you time to properly break in sticks and gloves before use at the games. Product will be shipped in early June. All items shipped must be brought to Baltimore and used in the game. Boys Gloves, head and Shaft TBD. Stay tuned! Please bring your cup. Girls Head and shaft TBD. Stay tuned! A gear and stick swap will be available during the event as needed. Gear distribution will take place at Under Armour World Headquarters on Thursday, June 29 th following your check-in at the hotel. Welcome Dinner 5 In 2017, Under Armour and Corrigan Sports will honor all of the All- Americans and Coaches at the Welcome Dinner. All players and families are invited. Friends and family will be treated to a guest speaker and will have the opportunity to see their sons and daughters recognized as the very best. When: Friday, June 30 th, 2017 Dinner- 7:00pm-10:00pm Where: Hyatt Regency Dress Attire: Business Casual Address: 300 Light Street Baltimore, MD 21202 *Tickets can be purchased via the registration link in the email
Travel Information 6 Travel Plans: It is the responsibility for each player to arrange for their own travel to and from the hotel on arrival & departure days. Host Hotel: Hyatt Regency Baltimore 300 Light Street Baltimore, MD 21202 All-America Games will be played at Johnny Unitas Stadium @ Towson University. Rooms will be provided for all players. Closest Airport: BWI (Baltimore) 20 min. to Hotel Corrigan Sports will provide a travel stipend to offset some of the expenses incurred getting to and from the event. It is a sliding scale based on distance traveled from home town. 400+ miles $300 200-399 miles $200 100-199 miles $100 Stipend will be paid by check within two weeks after the event. Player Checklist 7 The following steps must be taken in a timely manner for you to be included in all media preparation, including program printing 1. Custom Under Armour All-America kits will be mailed to your home address the first week of June. Keep an eye out for your package! Please bring everything you receive to Baltimore. 2. Complete the online registration with the link below. This information is used to create your bio for the program and website. You are also able to purchase your dinner ticket at that time.
