This project tripled the working space for the staff and left some room to expand in the future. o Coordinated all alumni activities, both on and off campus, for The University of Mississippi, Mississippi s flagship and largest institution of higher learning. o Made all spending and personnel decisions for a total budget of $6.5M. o Sat on Finance & Audit Committee, which made investment decisions for the $7.9M assets of the Alumni Association and the Inn at Ole Miss. o Traveled extensively and spoke at alumni functions throughout the country, including 68 clubs, various picnics, and reunions. o Directed the travel program, which offered about 30 trips each year. o Publisher, Ole Miss Alumni Review magazine. Interim Executive Director July 2008 to September 2008 o Managed the Department of Alumni Affairs and the Inn at Ole Miss. Supervised 60 employees. o Made all spending and personnel decisions. o Directed the $21.5M Campaign for the Inn at Ole Miss. Designed building with architects, developed campaign materials, worked with volunteer steering committee members, and made hundreds of personal solicitations. Expanded Inn by adding 49 suites, new lobby, additional boardroom, café and 6,000 SF ballroom. Transformed the Inn into Oxford s largest and only full service hotel. o Spoke at alumni functions throughout the country. Senior Associate Director of Alumni Affairs and Associate Dean for Development, School of Law July 2006 to June 2008 o Directed the $21.5M Campaign for the Inn at Ole Miss. o Coordinated the $50M Law School Campaign, which included building a new $40M building and raising $10M for scholarship endowments and faculty support. o Supervised the Director of Stewardship, the Assistant to the Dean for Development, and an Assistant in the Law School. o Supervised the Alumni Assistant and Staff Assistant in the Department of Alumni Affairs. Senior Associate Director of Alumni Affairs September 2005 to June 2006 o Coordinated all alumni activities for the School of Law, including the annual alumni reunion, new student luncheon, annual alumni luncheon at the Mississippi Bar Convention, major donor dinner at the Mississippi Bar Convention, and published 2 issues of the UM Lawyer magazine each year. o Supervised the Alumni Assistant and an Assistant in the Department of Alumni Affairs. o Directed the $21.5M Campaign for the Inn at Ole Miss. Campaign Coordinator, the Campaign for the Inn at Ole Miss July 2004 to June 2009 o Directed all aspects of the $21.5M Campaign to expand the Inn at Ole Miss. o Planned meetings with the five-member Management Committee and 22 member Steering Committee.

o Identified and solicited prospects at all levels: Leadership and Naming Opportunities, Major Gifts, and Family Gifts. o Worked with fund raising consultants, hotel consultants, architect, interior design firm and various university committees to keep project on schedule. o Developed campaign materials. o Delegated campaign assignments to other staff members as appropriate. Associate Director for External Relations May 2000 to August 2005 o Directly supervised the Alumni Assistant and the Administrative Secretary. o Negotiated contracts, along with Executive Director, for affinity programs (MBNA credit card, Medjet Assistance, ESF Loan Consolidation, GradMed Health Insurance, long distance telephone). o Coordinated bowl game, SEC Basketball Tournament, and NCAA Basketball Tournament activities for fans: negotiated hotel and bus contracts, planned pre- and postgame functions and hospitality suites. o Coordinated fan travel to all off campus football games: negotiated hotel and bus contracts, organized hospitality suites, and negotiated contracts for charter trips. o Signed checks for the Alumni Association, Professional Chapters and Orders, and special interest groups. o Approved all expenditures for the Alumni Association. o Oversaw the overall performance of club program (approximately 50 clubs). o Coordinated Alumni Association travel program. o Attended all Executive Committee, Finance and Audit Committee, and Alumni Association Board of Directors meetings. o Worked with the Inter-Alumni Council, comprised of representatives from all eight public universities in Mississippi.
