This degree develops highly creative design professionals who can think critically, reflect on ideas, and progress a complex project from a theoretical concept though to detailed resolution whilst balancing the social; ethical; cultural; technical; business; and environmental contexts in which a designer in the 21st century operates. Graduates of related diploma or advanced diploma courses in interior design may be offered advanced standing for this degree saving you time and money. HE20520 Bachelor of 3D Art and Animation This a professional degree that will prepare you for a career as an artist or animator in a range of visual media fields such as feature filmmaking; game design and development; television; online content development; and advertising. You will develop skills to work across the production pipeline and to meet international standards in the creation of entertainment products and communications media. By the end of the course, you will have gained a deep theoretical grounding in art and animation principles that will be supported by the technical skills and artistic sensibilities required to work in this creative industry. CUA60315 Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design The Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design will provide you with the opportunity to build a great portfolio, work on live briefs with industry professionals, and undertake a mentored internship. You will also study project management and the business aspects of graphic design. The course culminates with an exhibition that is well attended by industry. Many of our graduates have gained employment directly from this event. This course is the perfect stepping stone to the start of a great career in graphic design.

The Advanced Diploma of Industrial Design gives you the innovative design skills you need to make it in the demanding world of manufacturing, product design and industrial design. Graduates will gain practical, specialised technical, creative and conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives that improve the efficiency of existing products or the creation and manufacture of new ones. This course is intended to provide you with advanced knowledge and skills to identify, design and develop new or improved products for manufacturing. I started studying industrial design to improve my CAD skills, which were shonky at best. In just over two years, and before I had even finished my advanced diploma, I was working fulltime designing products for JANDS DALLAS WINSPEAR, ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGN MSF50213 Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration Do you want to be an interior decorator, colour consultant, interior stylist or commercial decorator for furnishing and fabric stores and suppliers? This Diploma will give you the skills to be employed in any of these roles. The course covers the development of complete decorative schemes for the effective use of residential and commercial or institutional interior spaces, working with a client brief and within project parameters. It may also include specialist design areas, such as facilities for people with disabilities and the aged. TO DEVELOP YOUR DESIGN SKILLS ACROSS A RANGE OF VISUAL ARTS MEDIUMS CUV50111 Diploma of Visual Arts Do you like working with different mediums to combine specialist technical, creative and conceptual skills into art forms. This course will help you develop skills in ceramics, drawing and illustration, painting, photomedia, printmaking, public art, sculpture, textile design, wood design, digital art and glasswork. Your practical skills will be complemented by improving your knowledge and application of arts theory and history so you can critically analyse and synthesise information from a range of sources. Visual artists may work in their own practice, or in a wide range of contexts across the arts, government, community or commercial organisations. This nationally recognised training is designed to give you practical skills, which can be applied across a number of design disciplines. The core units of this course will teach you, through the development of your own creative project, how to develop your creative thinking, devise design solutions, interpret a design brief, integrate colour theory and design process. You will also choose 8 elective areas to study, based on your specific interests and career goals.
