Target Group National Certificate: OD-ETDP Level 5 The purpose of this qualification is for learning and development practitioners (private training consultants and company facilitators/human resource development cocoordinators etc) who want to build on their experience in the field, or enter the field of Education, Training and Development as a future career. The qualification is also essential for those who have been practising within the field, without formal recognition, and for any organisation that wishes to be accredited to offer registered qualifications. It is a learnership to train learning and development practitioners for industry / business and encompasses a host of vital skills, including skills development facilitator, assessor, facilitator, mentor-coach, moderator, programme/material developer and evaluator. Once completed, certain of these unit standards credits count towards a level 6 OD-ETDP Certificate.

Min No per company Cost per person (excl) based on 5 modules of 5 consecutive days approximately 4-5 weeks apart. Various options for payment are available. Note: The cost includes the Management of the Learnership, all Course Materials, Manuals and PoEs, Stationery, Facilitation, Assessment, Moderation and Certification by the ETDP SETA.

Deliverables This cost will ensure that Dionysus fulfills the following functions: Portfolios are predominantly completed during the 4-5 days contact time of training. Once candidates have submitted their completed Portfolios of Evidence, they are assessed and given written feedback. If there are any gaps, the Portfolios are returned to the candidate for remediation and resubmitted. Two further attempts are permitted. Internal moderation of 25% of the Portfolios takes place. Learner results are communicated to ETDP SETA. A request is sent to ETDP SETA to conduct a verification visit. Successful candidates results are uploaded to the ETDP SETA DATANET (Management Information System) by the Dionysus Quality Manager. Only accredited/mou providers have a login username and password to perform this function. The SORs (Statement of Results ) are received electronically as a pdf from the ETDP SETA. These are saved, printed, laminated and distributed to candidates. Competent candidates receive framed Certificates of Achievement for the SDF, Assessor and Moderator modules. The ETDP SETA issues the full qualification certificate. A database of all achievements is kept electronically and backed up in four places, including two off site back-ups.
