This event, taking place under the aegis of the ANLEA (Association Nationale de la filière Langues Etrangères Appliquées) and of its international branch (AILEA http://www.anlea.org/index.htm), is meant to be a special place for dialogue and exchanges reserved to the international academic community of the Applied Modern Languages departments. This year, the ANLEA/AILEA Congress will take place between June 3 rd and June 5 th in Cluj- Napoca and it will be a great opportunity for international dialogue, for a shared and comparative reflection on the experiences and best practices of Applied Modern Languages departments in several countries. We deeply hope that many of you will be able to participate in this meeting which represents a new stage in the activity and the development of the Association. It is the first time the ANLEA Association entrusts the organization of its annual congress to a foreign university and the University of Cluj-Napoca is ready to take over this task. The Congress will be preceded by the scientific Conference Language, Culture and Business organized by the University of Bucharest (May 31 st June 2 nd 2011; see our colleagues call for papers and contact Ms Diana IoniŃă, ionita_diana@yahoo.com, for details).
