Society for Advanced Bronchoscopy About the Meeting There is an unmet need for advanced bronchoscopy education. The Society for Advanced Bronchoscopy (SAB) was created to address this need. This inaugural SAB educational course is designed to improve medical knowledge and improve patient care by educating physicians, physician assistants, nurses, technologists and allied health personnel in the areas of bronchoscopy reporting, coding, advanced fluoroscopy and the latest advances in bronchoscopy. A panel discussion has also been included to facilitate interaction between lecturing faculty and the audience. Objectives Design a bronchoscopy report that can be used as a database for research Increase knowledge of bronchoscopy for chronic bronchitis Discuss the expanding role of lung volume reduction Describe the benefits of enhanced fluoroscopy Target Audience This course will be of interest to physicians specializing in pulmonology as well as physician assistants, nurses, technologists and allied health professionals in fields related to pulmonology and bronchoscopy. It will be beneficial to those without pulmonology experience, as well as those wanting to improve or refine their skills. Physicians Educational Symposia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
