SUMMARY REPORT OF TECHXELLENCE 2017 NAME OF EVENT: 6 th National Level Paper presentation & Technical Fest Techxellence 2017 DATE OF EVENT: 20 th January 2017 ABOUT THE EVENT: As per the Culture of Sandip Institute of Technology & Research Centre, Nashik, every academic year Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering organizes National Level Paper presentation & Technical Fest Techxellence for aspirants assembling from various Polytechnic/Engineering colleges with a very high competitive spirit to participant and with the strong determination to include their achievements & accomplishments to their resumes. For the academic Year 2016-2017 we have organized Techxellence-2017 was organized with the same enthusiasm and determination among the new set of student coordinators, student volunteers and faculty co-ordinator during Jan 20 th 2017. The objective behind organizing this event is to provide platform for the students to showcase their talent with a competitive spirit. The event was successful enough to attract as many as 900 registrations which includes all the events. The fest executed with a total of 04 events namely as Paper presentation, Poster Presentation,Quiz Competition and Haunted Cricket which were planned and organized at its best of quality. Focusing on the types of events to include in the fest was decided by fest coordinators keeping the interest and need of the engineering student into consideration, with little emphasis on the fun full events behind the scene. The inauguration of the event was done by Chief Guest Hon'ble Mr. Santosh Mandlecha, Director, Reliance Electronics Nashik and Guest of Honour, Mr. Jayesh Shah, Director,Yatin Industronics Nashik. Principal, Dr. S. T. Gandhe addressed the students to utilize the opportunities, enhancing the confidence level, catalyzing the development. The Dean of academic, Prof. P. R. Baviskar, appreciated the efforts of the students on the momentous event and wishing them grand success in their academic & life. The Head of Department, Prof. Dr. G. M. Phade advised the students to take part in competitive activities related to advances in engineering technology. Prof. J. A. Patel proposed the vote of thanks to

all the dignitaries and the program co-coordinators, department faculty, supporting staff and students. The winners were encouraged with a cash prizes almost for all the events. Department feels proud to organize such a successful event and would like to convey thanks to principal and management for their timely advice and cooperation for organizing successful Fest. OBJECTIVE OF THE EVENT: Techxellence has turned the spotlight on emerging topics such as Wireless communication, VLSI Design, RTOS & Embedded System, Digital Signal Processing and Emerging Technologies in the field of Electronics & Telecommunication. Paper Presentation allows individuals to demonstrate their knowledge in depth of an area of engineering By communicating their research and subsequent opinions to a panel of judges student share the ideas in an interesting and engaging manner. The purpose of the Technical Event is to recognize outstanding technical contributions from individual students. OUTCOME OF THE EVENT: Techxellence has provide the opportunities to the new researcher of engineering to present their presentation skills. The main advantage or motto of the presenting paper is to bring students out of stage fear and also improve their communication skills. The number of papers student present has helped to explore hidden talents in student and identify a positive difference in themselves. It also provides an opportunity to learn in detailed about a core subject which is a part of curriculum and develop effective presentation skills. Award with a certificate boost the confidence in student and this certificate count enormously at the time of interview.
