(NVQ/QCF) BTEC Certificate in Education and Training Level This qualification provides an introduction to the skills, qualities and knowledge that may be required for employment for those working as a Part Time Teacher and Trainer. The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall understanding of those working in the school sector. It will provide a first insight in to the principles and process of Education and Training in Schools and will aid career progression. Components BTEC Certificate in Education and Training Level Awarding Body EDEXCEL Overview Industry recognised certification for experienced Support for Education and Training Duration 12 months minimum Requirements To complete this qualification, candidates must achieve Credits from a choice of units specialising within your service sector. Teaching practice 0 hours required Delivery In-company programme for individuals and groups Assessment Observation, discussion, personal statement, supporting documentation, portfolio of evidence, invigilate tests and examinations. (Level NVQ/QCF) BTEC Certificate in Education and Training - Qualification structure To achieve the Education and Training full Level, learners must complete a minimum of thirty-six credits, of which twenty-one credits must be achieved at level or above; twenty-one credits must achieved from Group A mandatory units and the remaining fifteen credits must be selected from optional units in Groups B. In order to fully qualify, a mandatory requirement of thirty hours teaching practice must be completed.
