Name Skills 13 Tamara made the dot plot below to show the length of the bows she had in a drawer. 1. How many bows did Tamara count in her drawer? 2. How many bows were six and one-half centimeters or shorter? 3. After she completed the dot plot, she found a twelfth bow. The bow she found is modeled below. Use a ruler to measure the length of the bow to the nearest 0.5 centimeter. If the data for the twelfth bow is added to the line plot, which statement would be true? A Exactly of the bows have a length that is greater than 6.5 centimeters. B For every bow that is 6.5 centimeters long, there are 2 bows that are 8.0 centimeters long. C Exactly of the bows have a length that is less than 7.5 centimeters. D For every bow that is 5.5 centimeters long, there are 2 bows that are 9.0 centimeters long. 4. After Tamara added the data of the 12 th bow to the dot plot, what fraction of the total bows were 8.0 centimeters or longer? Fourth Grade: 4 th Six Weeks, Skills Sharon Wells Mathematics Curriculum, Inc. 2015-2016

Name Skills 14 Sergio made a dot plot to show the results of the number of spins on a spinner with the numbers 1-7 on it. 1. Use the data from the dot plot to create a frequency table. Spinner Number Results (Frequency) 2. Which number was spun twice as many times as the number 4? 3. How many times did Sergio spin the spinner, according to the data? 4. Sergio spun the spinner 1 more time, and it stopped on 3. If he added the result of his spin to his dot plot, which statement would NOT be true? F The results for Number 1 and Number 6 were equal. G The number 7 was selected three times more than the number 6. H Number 7 was selected as many times as Number 3. J For every time the spinner selected Number 2, the Number 5 was selected 4 times.
