Logging In Follow these steps to log in to the Karmak elearning website. 1. Go to the website: http://elearning.karmak.com/login/index.php 2. Enter your email address in the Username field and your password in the Password field. Then, click the Log in button to access to the Karmak elearning materials. a. If you forgot your username or password, select the Forgotten your username or password? link for assistance. You will be taken to a web page that lets you enter your username or email address to receive instructions to gain access to the website. NOTE: The email sent is a system-generated email; due to restrictions within virus protection software, these types of emails are almost always sent to the receiving email system s Spam folder. Please check your Spam folder if you do not receive the email.

Accessing the elearning Home Page After successfully logging onto the Karmak elearning website, you are taken to your Home page, which lists the courses, certifications, and instructor-led sessions available to you. In the example above, the learner has completed the Fusion Repair Order Search course and partially completed the Fusion Repair Order Header course in the My Course Completions section. It also shows there is a certification due in the Upcoming Certifications section. My Learning Tab The My Learning tab contains options for: Learning Plans displays what you are enrolled in and allows you to see all, active only, or completed only. My Bookings displays any bookings (i.e., instructor-led sessions, webinars) you have selected to attend. Record of Learning displays your learning transcript (i.e., anything you are enrolled in, status/progress, grades).

My Team Tab The My Team tab only displays for any user that is flagged as a manager of a team. Selecting the My Team tab displays all users on your team, as well as the following information for each user: Name Last Login Courses Started Courses Completed Competencies Achieved Learning Plans (Plan hyperlink) Profile (Profile hyperlink) Bookings (Bookings hyperlink) Transcript (Records hyperlink) Required Learning (Required hyperlink) My Reports Tab The My Reports tab displays any reports and/or dashboards you can view or schedule to view. Find Learning Tab The Find Learning tab allows you to search for learning content by course, by program, or by certification. This is basically the entire course catalog. Calendar Tab The Calendar tab lists any upcoming events.

Accessing elearning Coursework To access any certifications or programs you are enrolled in: 1. Select the My Learning tab at the top of the screen, and then choose Required Learning. This will take you to a list of all the programs and/or certifications you are required to complete. We suggest you complete the Getting to Know the System program first, as this will give you valuable information about the business system. 2. Click on the program/certification name, which will bring up the learning path for that program/certification. 3. To access a course, click the course name link or the Launch course button.

4. Select the Enter button to begin the course. Key Concepts The first thing you will see after the title page is the Key Concepts slide, which provides a brief explanation of what material the course covers, or an explanation of the terminology that is used in the course. You can tell which slide you are on by referring to the Table of Contents on the left side of the screen. The slide that is currently displayed is highlighted in grey. When you are ready, click Next in the bottom right corner of the screen to continue.

Field Definitions Click any highlighted field to display a definition of the field. If you see a message that states you can select a specific tab to view field definitions, such as the example shown above, click on the tab to view another screen of fields. When you are ready, click Next to continue. Resources The Resources slide allows you to choose which method better suits your learning style. You can choose from any of the following: Process Flow Document This link displays a process flow document that walks you through the steps of working with the software. This document can be printed. Video Tutorial This link displays a video that explains the associated topic. Software Simulation This link displays a guided simulation of the software.

When you are ready, click Next to continue. Skill Check The final slide is for the Skill Check. When you click Next, the following occurs: A software simulation launches that is similar to the guided simulation you may have viewed in the Resources slide, but it is not a guided simulation and just provides a goal (bottom of the screen) for you to complete. This approach is used as a test to determine if you can complete the process on your own. You must receive 80% or higher on the skill check for the course to be marked complete. NOTE/TIP: When entering data in a text box within the course, please use the Tab key on your keyboard, versus the press tab link located within the course. The press tab link in the course is intended for mobile users that do not have a tab key on the keyboard, and will negatively affect your grade when used.

The course is complete when you see the Thank You slide. Closing the course window allows you to proceed to the next topic. We appreciate your interest in Karmak s elearning website, videos, and coursework. Feel free to email any questions about the Karmak elearning videos and coursework to elearning@karmak.com.
