Glen Ridge Public Schools World Languages Curriculum Course Title: SPANISH IV HONORS Subject: WORLD LANGUAGE Grade Level: 9 12 Duration: 1 YEAR Prerequisite: A GRADE OF B OR HIGHER IN SPANISH III Elective or Required: ELECTIVE Department Mission Statement: The mission of the World Language Department is to prepare students linguistically and culturally to communicate successfully in a global community. We believe every student is capable of acquiring a second language. We implement the four components of language learning: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in our endeavor to develop passionate, confident, lifelong learners. Course Description : This course is designed to strengthen advanced learners abilities in Spanish. Students will review, learn and implement all major grammatical concepts, vastly expand their working vocabulary, improve speaking skills, enhance writing ability and refine listening comprehension.
