University Pathway Programs a guaranteed pathway to higher study Sometimes referred to as transfer programs, s University Pathway Programs provide students with the opportunity to enter university with guaranteed advanced standing for up to one and a half years towards a Bachelor degree and up to 6 months for a Master degree. Students complete the first part of the program at then transfer to a partner university to complete the degree. Students are required to meet minimum entry requirements and, in some cases, may complete the Bachelor degree with a further two years study. These programs offer an ideal alternative pathway for students who: Are seeking a suitable supportive learning environment that will assist them with their transition into life and study in Australia; May have been unsuccessful in obtaining direct entry into university; or Are seeking a competitively priced first year of study. Bachelor of Early Childhood Education The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education covers the education requirements of young children from birth to five years and will qualify students as teachers in childcare centres, kindergartens and early learning centres. This course has been developed as a new teacher education program to address the potential shortage of four year trained kindergarten and childcare centre teachers. Students enrol into s 2 year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and upon successful completion will be eligible for entry into the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
