This booklet outlines the procedure for parents wishing to apply for a place for their child in Year 7, September 2018. The procedure aims to ensure that every parent has a fair opportunity to gain a place for their son or daughter at our school. Information for parents of prospective students Full information about our school can be found on our website www.uhs.org.uk. Arrangements have been made for parents of prospective students to visit the school on: MONDAY, 2ND OCTOBER 2017 from 6pm You are invited to view the school, see examples of work, meet students and staff and ask any questions you may have. There will be further opportunities to view the school at one of our Open Mornings which take place on: 4TH / 5TH OCTOBER 2017 and 11TH / 12TH OCTOBER 2017 at 9.45am one
How to apply for a place in Year 7 September 2018 The Governors have agreed to process applications for admission to Uxbridge High School according to the co-ordinated Admissions Scheme managed by the London Borough of Hillingdon Education Authority. For Hillingdon residents To make an application for a place at Uxbridge High School, apply online to Schools Admissions at www. hillingdon.gov.uk/schools. The London Borough of Hillingdon operates an equal preference scheme. If you do not have internet access, you can apply for a place at Uxbridge High School using the relevant form provided by the London Borough of Hillingdon, which accompanies the 'Starting Secondary School' booklet. If you require a copy, please contact the Hillingdon Admissions Team on 01895 556644. For non-hillingdon residents You need to complete the relevant online application, via your own Local Authority, stating Uxbridge High School as a preferred school. Your Local Authority will inform Hillingdon Local Authority of your choice to apply to Uxbridge High School.
