Prayer Requests and Health Updates: Please keep the following in your prayers: Tish Harris dad (RH Geurin) is living at Heritage Villa. He is on oxygen 24/7 and gets around in a wheel chair. Charlotte Hoppe s dad (Frank Beadle) he s on oxygen 24/7 with his COPD. He was recently dismissed from Adams PARC and has returned to his home. Christy Humphries (daughter of Kathy) continues to fight pain attacks Travis Smith (Mary Wyatt s nephew) continues to have liver and kidney problems and will eventually need liver and kidney transplants. Tandy Klepper, Charlotte s friend and Carol Gay s daughter, is fighting cancer. Beth Hoppe is at home now but continues to struggle. Gail Barnett s mother is at Heritage Village. Lois Smith, (Mary Wyatt s mother) at Adams PARC for Physical Therapy. Lois was in atrial fibrillation and is in rhythm now after two trips to ER and a stay at JP Hospital, she had the nasty virus and is doing better. Hoping to return to Miami mid January. John Brady, (Jan s husband) recently had quadruple bypass and was in atrial fibrillation. John converted to normal rhythm on his own! Good to Know: JPS had six members who contributed donations or volunteered for the JP School Santa Shop. Santa s Cottage was canceled due to rain. The JPS Christmas Membership Party was hosted at the home of Pattie Shipp with 18 members in attendance. Patties home was decorated for Christmas and members were greeted with a festive decorated home with Christmas in the air. A make-your-own Mexican Taco Salad with Christmas cookies and candy for desert was enjoyed by all! Members participated in a Christmas ornament exchange; thanks to Charlotte Hoppe for opening most of the ornaments! (Charlotte s ornament selection kept getting stolen!) Kay Reynolds won the door prize-southern Living s Christmas Cookbook. Thanks to Pattie, Beth Johnson, Marie Ullrich, Greg and for a great event!

JPS Nursing Home Residents Christmas 2015 chaired by Karen Lutke and her helpers, Jan Brady, Sara Gleason, Tish Harris, Christy and Kathy Humphries, Beth Johnson, Rod Lutke, Grover and Kathy Shelts, and Elaine Stevens. Gifts were provided to 15 residents at Heritage Villa and 15 residents at Forrest Manor along with treat cups for residents and staff. Great job! JPS donated $25 to the National Memorial Fund in memory of Margaret Turner (Paul Turner s wife). Paul Turner was the custodian for the JPS Clubrooms. Nell Webb, Channel Member had a stroke and is not living with a niece in Baton Rouge.
