Comparing sentence starters to remember... Similarities Sentence example similarly Text 1 uses formal looking font in the headline. This shows that the main text is about a serious topic. Similarly, text 2 also uses font for effect on the reader. like Text 1 is like text 2 because they both uses photographic images in the centre of the text... is similar to Text 1 is similar to text 2 because they both use bullet points in the main text. The effect of the bullet points breaks the text up for the reader. This makes the text easier to read... Differences Sentence example however Text 1 and text 2 both use presentational devices, however text 1 is different to text 2 because... whereas in contrast Text 1 uses lots of colour whereas text 2 uses black and white instead of colour.
