Students of this programme will develop critical awareness of the roles of tourism and events in business and hone the ability to develop and market tourism and event projects and services. They will also acquire transferrable skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, report writing, presentation communication and strategic planning skills, interpersonal and leadership skills, cultural skills and quantitative abilities that are employability and enterprise focused for a variety of career settings. Job demands in the industry cover the event management, customer services and tourism facets.
