CURRENT RESEARCH UNDERDEVELOPMENT Mexican American Football Coaches in Texas I started working on a biography on a father son tandem who were amongst the earliest Mexican Americans to serve as high school head football coaches. Latinos and H-2A This project looks at the exploitative and deplorable conditions in which a great number of immigrant workers find themselves in throughout the country, including the Midwest. Latinos in Flint s Water Crisis I am also researching the impact the Flint water crisis has had (and is having) on the Latino population. I am conducting oral histories with Latino community leaders and residents. Latino/a Business owners in Michigan I am finalizing an article on the challenges Latino business owners have in Michigan.
