Curse Grades: Because yu will be receiving a transcripted 3 credits frm FVTC, we are required t use their grade scale. Grades are based n each student s ttal pint accumulatin fr the curse and the cllege grading scale. Grades are entered n Skyward fr this curse and are available t view at any time. Assignments/Cases/Prjects/Readings: Wrk and assignments must be cmpleted, submitted and/r printed befre class BEGINS. Yu are respnsible fr yur wrk being handed in even if yu are absent. Yu are respnsible fr reading all assigned chapters and articles. Yu may have practice exercises fr each chapter that are due at the start f class. Missed practice exercises will nt be able t be made up and yu will receive a 0 scre fr the week. Late assignments will receive a 10% pint reductin fr everyday that they are past the due date. Each schl day an assignment/prject is late a 10% deductin will be assessed t the final pints fr that assignment. Ex. After 1 day an assignment with 50 pints is wrth 45 pints. Ex. After 1+ week (10 days late) an assignment is wrth 0% and cannt be submitted fr grading. Late quizzes/tests and prjects are nt accepted by the instructr unless cnditins/situatins (family emergency, medical illness and emergency) warrant an extensin. Exams: There will be 3 majr exams/quizzes fr the semester. Tpics f review sheets fr these exams will be available the week befre the exam date. Exams may be all essay r a cmbinatin essay, matching and multiple-chice. Details will be given ne week prir t the testing date. Freedm High Schl will include a unit test fr each chapter. Final Prject: Yu will have a cmprehensive semester exam at the end f the first semester. There is n cmprehensive final exam at the end f the secnd semester. Yu will be given a majr prject which will be cmpleted and presented at the end f the secnd semester that will shwcase yur understanding f the business principles learned in this curse. Class Activities: There will be numerus class activities thrughut the semester. Sme activities will have pint values assigned t them and will be cmpleted in class, thers may nt. Students are expected t participate in all class activities and presentatins. If yu are absent and miss class activities that have pint value, it is yur respnsibility t cnnect with the instructr t determine hw yu will receive the pints if pssible..
