Notwithstanding the nature or field of the university degree mentioned above, the applicant's university transcript must encompass, as a minimum prerequisite, a combination of meteorology, physics and mathematics courses that include: minimum of 30 credits in physics and mathematics, or the equivalent of 10 courses of about 45 lecture hours each; dynamic meteorology thermodynamic meteorology synoptic meteorology three (3) other meteorology related courses. Be advised that if successful in the process, you will be attending a 7 month internship course in one of our 3 training centers located in Dartmouth (Nova Scotia), Montréal (Québec) or and Edmonton (Alberta). Upon completion of the internship course, you will be relocated to one of the Meteorological Service of Canada Centers. Current staffing needs are more important in the following cities: Edmonton, Montreal, and Gander. Both shift work and mobility across Canada are conditions of employment for these positions.
