Log in to the Learning Site 1. Go to www.cap.org. Click on HELLO LOG IN. 2. Log in using your CAP credentials. 3. Click on the Learning tab. Learner Quick Reference Guide 4
Search for an Activity in the Learning Site 1. Select Learning Search from the menu. 2. You may find a activity through the activity title, portion of the title, or any appropriate key word. Enter your search term to find the activity in the Search Box and press Enter. You may further limit your search results using the search filter menu on the left of the screen. 3. Review the search results. Ensure the correct activity appears. Register for an Activity 1. Click the Register button of the selected activity to view the Activity Description. Learner Quick Reference Guide 6
2. When the Activity Description page displays, click the Register button to register for the activity. 3. Verify registration confirmation email was received. You will receive a separate confirmation that your order processed successfully. Learner Quick Reference Guide 7
Purchase an activity 1. Log in to to the CAP website using your CAP credentials. Select Shop. You must be logged in to add items to your care. If you haven t logged in yet, you will be prompted to Log In. Use your CAP website user ID and password. 2. The activity will be loaded into your cart. Select the Checkout button. 3. Add or update a credit card and select the GO button. (If there are multiple credit cards associated with your account, be sure to select the appropriate number using the drop-down list. Reviewing your order. Check the box at the bottom to Accept the Terms & Conditions and then select the PLACE PLACE ORDER button. Learner Quick Reference Guide 9
5. WAIT while the purchase is being processed. Do not navigate away from this page while order processing is underway. 6. Once the order has been processed, review and print (if desired) the Acknowledgement. When the review is complete, select the Access Learning button to return to the Learning site. You will receive a payment confirmation email from the CAP store. Learner Quick Reference Guide 10
Launching the Learning Activity 1. When you return to the In Progress Learning page, select the activity title to launch the activity content (or to review the activity details, select the + button). The activity page will be displayed. Select Resume to launch the activity. Learner Quick Reference Guide 11
2. Start the Activity by selecting the Activity Overview tab and review the activity information. 3. Scroll down and mark the checkbox to confirm you have read the activity information. Then click the Continue button. Learner Quick Reference Guide 12
4. You should automatically be taken to the Activity Material page. Click the activity link to start the activity. 5. Complete the activity materials, post-test (if available), and evaluation form. You will have three attempts to complete the post-test. You will need a minimum score of 70% to pass. Learner Quick Reference Guide 13
6. Verify the post-assessment score, completion status, and number of attempts display correctly. Once you confirm your status is correct, click the Continue button. Claiming Credit 1. The Claim Credit page displays. Click the Claim button. Learner Quick Reference Guide 14
2. A pop-up screen will appear displaying available credit. Enter the appropriate number of credits reflecting your time spent in the activity. Click the Submit button. You will be automatically returned to the activity page. 3. Click the Continue button on the bottom of Claim Credit page. You will automatically be taken to the Certificate page. Printing a Certificate 1. Click on the Certificate (or Letter of Participation) link highlighted in blue. 2. View and print the Certificate (if applicable), using your browser print function. You can also save a copy of the certificate to your computer by printing it as a pdf file. Learner Quick Reference Guide 16
3. Then click the Close button on the Certificate page. You'll be returned to the In Progress page. Reviewing the Transcript 1. From the In Progress Learning page, click the Learning Transcript tab. Learner Quick Reference Guide 17
2. Review the transcript, and ensure the correct activity and details display. You have the option to print a copy from this screen. You may also limit your search by using the filter by date option. Learner Quick Reference Guide 18
