Train The Trainers London Dubaii (in-house tailored training) September - October 2014
Introduction: Our Train the Trainers course helps trainers to develop their own training skills. Some of our previous delegates were new to training, others had years of experience yet they had one thing in common- our Train the Trainers course demonstrated that even professional trainers need coaching to add value to their skills. A dynamic, practical training course suitable for all levels of professional trainers. Course Objectives: * Setting objectives and managing expectations * Appreciating individual training style strengths * Working personal issues into training material * Training dynamics and how to 'work the room' * Identifying different learning styles * Creating a dynamic training program * Devising flexible and tailored modules * Useful tips, tools and training techniques * Dealing with difficult participants and scenarios * Handling cynicism, fear and resistance * Personalizing the work by examples * Confidently using your personality as a tool * Creating energy in the training room * How to work outside the scope of the plan * Developing your courage and confidence * Reviewing the effectiveness of your training * Bags of opportunities to practice * Making it engaging and fun
Course structure: One thing we emphasize on the course is that a good training session is not a presentation, with a trainer 'talking at' trainees - training should be made up of at least 50% delegate parcipaon. We make sure we follow this 'rule' ourselves! Our Train the Trainers course is therefore very interactive, with plenty of opportunity for delegates to discuss and practice how to handle a range of training challenges Course overview: Delegates on our Train the Trainer course will learn... Day 1 How to define objectives that meet both business and trainee needs. How to plan and design training to gain the trainee's commitment and enthusiasm - even reluctant trainees! How to recognize the different psychological and sensory learning styles of trainees. How to adapt training to meet ALL of these styles Day 2 How to deal with challenging trainees and resistance to training. How to deal with trainee concerns about training. The pro's and con's of different training methods. How to ensure training is interactive and participative - and not simply a presentation. How, why and when to adopt a facilitative or directive training style.
Day 3 Knowledge Seekers UK, Customised Training How to ensure and check that training: is really effective that objectives have been met that real learning has occurred What to do before and after training to ensure the best possible outcome for the business and trainee Optional coaching day 4: Knowledge Seekers UK is delighted to offer an optional day of coaching to energize the methods of training. Coaching derived from sports psychology is designed and frequently being used to enhance the communication skills between trainer and trainees. This ideal final day of energy and enthusiasm will leave trainers motivated and ready to apply their newly gained knowledge. Delegates will be encouraged to participate actively in relating the principles of emotional intelligence and strategic training plans to the particular needs of their workplace. This day includes: 1- Outdoor activity; testing your creativity & communication skills 2- Team building exercises & coaching theory Before the course: We send our pre-course registration & customization form to all delegates attending our Train the Trainers course. The responses are confidential - we use them to help ensure that the course meets the needs of each delegate and match the goals of their organization. We are also happy to look through delegates training material, in order to discuss it with them and provide feedback on the day of the course. After the course: All delegates who have attended our Train the Trainers course are entitled to six months free telephone and email support after the course. Many delegates use this to send us whole training courses for review.
