History Exam Board: OCR Course: HISTORY A (EXPLAINING THE MODERN WORLD) J410 Key features OCR s GCSE (9 1) in History A has been designed to help learners explain and understand the world around us today. Students will study a wide range of content options, and consider key themes which demonstrate the relevance of the past in understanding the present. Art & Design Art, Craft and Design Exam Board: AQA Course code: 8201 Course Aims: The course has been designed to allow students to develop knowledge and understanding through a variety of learning experiences and approaches, including engagement with sources. This will allow them to develop the skills to explore, create and communicate their own ideas. Students will demonstrate these skills through the development, refinement, recording, realisation and presentation of their ideas through a portfolio and by responding to an externally set assignment.
