Applicatin Prcedure Submit the UW System applicatin, available nline at: https://apply.wiscnsin.edu. Send fficial transcripts frm all pst secndary institutins attended. Send fficial high schl transcripts if yu have nt already earned yur bachelr s degree at the time yu apply. If any Advanced Placement r Internatinal Baccalaureate tests were taken while in high schl and received a scre f 3 r higher, a cpy f yur scre reprt is required t be cnsidered fr cllege credit. Admissins Requirements The Transfer Admissin Requirements state that yu are likely t be admitted in gd standing if yu have a cumulative grade pint average f 2.5 r greater. A cmprehensive review is cmpleted and everything, including yur applicant statement, is taken int cnsideratin when a decisin is made. Students transferring having already earned their assciate degree with a minimum 2.0 2.5 cumulative GPA may be cnsidered fr admissin n a prbatinary basis. Majr Specific Requirements: Transfer/secnd degree students must cmplete the fllwing curses befre acceptance t the B.S. Dietetics prgram. Students nt transferring these curses will be admitted as pre Dietetics until these curses have been cmpleted at UW Stut. MATH 120 (Cllege Algebra) CHEM 125 r 135 (Cllege Algebra based Chemistry) BIO 234 (Physilgy and Anatmy) UW Stut Graduatin Requirements All students graduating frm UW Stut must als meet Racial and Ethnic Studies as well as Glbal Perspective requirements. Students transferring frm ne f the UW Clleges having already earned their Assciate f Arts & Sciences degree have these tw categries autmatically met. Students that have nt cmpleted their degree at the time they transfer will have t meet the requirements fr the Racial & Ethnic Studies and Glbal Perspective areas identified belw. UW Stut curses that meet these requirements are listed in the UW Stut General Educatin Requirements (chse GE/RES/GLP curse list [PDF]) apprved listings n page 7 9. Students are encuraged t meet these requirements with curses that als apply t either general educatin r majr requirements. Ptentially a single curse culd apply t 2 3 prgram requirements. Racial & Ethnic Studies (RES): Six credits are required with a minimum f three credits frm the Categry RES A curse list. The remaining three credits may be frm either the RES A r RES B curse list. At the UW Clleges curses that may meet sme f these requirements are listed with the ES (Ethnic Studies) designatin. Curses that may apply t this requirement are curses that transfer as equivalencies t curses listed in the UW Stut General Educatin Requirements (chse GE/RES/GLP curse list [PDF]) apprved listings n page 7. Glbal Perspective (GLP): Cmpleted by either cmpleting a prgram f university apprved wrk r study abrad, r cmpleting six credits f curses apprved as fulfilling the glbal perspective requirement.
