Dos Amigos need SMM s help collecting toothbrushes to aid those in need of dental attention in the Mayan villages. We will collect toothbrushes from Monday, February 13, through Wednesday, February 22. The class who collects the most toothbrushes will receive a free dress day.

SMM STUDENTS OF THE YEAR NOMINEES The following fifth grade students were chosen as nominees for SMM Student of the Year. Each year the Archdiocese of New Orleans selects a student of the year from 5th graders in Catholic schools around the Archdiocese. Our SMM Student of the Year, Madelyn Smith, was selected as one of the finalists. RED OR PINK SHIRT DAY Students may wear a red or oink shirt with free dress bottoms on Tuesday, Valentine s Day, with a voluntary donation of any amount to the Soiree. BABY PETER GANUCHEAU Many of you have asked about Sheila Ganucheau s grandson, Peter. He has been released from the hospital and is now staying at the Ronal McDonald house as he recovers from his transplant surgery.
