Thousands of students, both Canadian and international, have progressed through Columbia s programs to successful Canadian universities notably as the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and University of Victoria. Since April 2013, Columbia College has offered its programs in a new five-story building on Terminal Avenue, just east of Vancouver s city centre. This Main Campus offers excellent state-of-the-art facilities to students, including science and computer labs, lounges, a bookstore and a library. In September 2017, Columbia College expanded into a newly-renovated facility a short walk away at 333 Terminal Avenue. This new North Campus is home to Columbia s accredited English as a Second Language Program and the expanded Secondary Programs. Columbia College operates as a not-for-profit society, where every staff member is eligible for society membership after a prescribed waiting period and participates democratically in the institution s decision-making.
