Any students wishing to receive a refund must request it in writing before the start of the second class. A refund minus a $50 processing fee will be made. No requests made after this date will be considered; nor will any refunds, partial or otherwise, be granted. Tuition cannot be transferred to another person or to a course in a later term. lf a class is canceled by us due to low enrolment, payment will be refunded in full. Neither refunds nor credits will be given for classes not attended. ATTENDANCE & MAKE-UP CLASSES Attendance is the student's responsibility. Contact your teacher for homework in the case of an absence. It is possible to make up two missed classes by attending a class in another course of the same level, subject to availability. The student needs to request a make-up class voucher at the reception to be admitted in the class. CLASS SIZE Generally, the minimum class size is 4 and the maximum is 12. However, in special circumstances, and depending on the needs of the course, Instituto Cervantes reserves the right to open a course with an additional student. For the best possibility of being accommodated on the course of their choosing, we encourage students to register early. Instituto Cervantes reserves the right to cancel courses for which fewer than 4 students have registered. Students registered in a canceled course will be duly notified and may choose to either receive a full refund or transfer to another course, providing it is not full. In the case of the latter, if the course fee is different, the student will either pay the extra or receive a refund as appropriate. TEACHERS & CLASS GROUPS Teachers are not assigned classes until the week prior to the start of the course. We reserve the right to reassign teachers after a course has started. Students cannot choose the teacher for their course. 12
