Kent Lawrence Mediation Biography (Long Form) Kent received his JD, cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 1969, where he was Order of the Coif and a member of the Editorial Board of the Northwestern University Law Review. In 1966, he received his BA from Brandeis University. Kent was admitted to practice in Illinois and before the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1969, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in 1974. Kent is a Member in the law firm of Lawrence, Kamin, Saunders & Uhlenhop, L.L.C. ("LKSU"). He joined Lawrence, Kamin in 1969, and became a partner in 1975. Kent was an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University School of Law where, between 1982 and 1993, he taught a seminar, "Commercial Arbitration."
