Monticello, Florida 4-H COUNTY EVENTS WINNERS LIVE AND LEARN AND PASS IT ON THE SPRING TIME BREEZE Congratulations on winning in your category at 4-H County Events! It took self-discipline and extra effort to give a demonstration, illustrated talk, a speech and to sew a garment. Now you are eligible to compete at 4-H District III Events & Blitz which will be held in Gadsden County, Saturday, April 10, 2010. IN ORDER TO COMPETE OR BE CRITIQUED FOR DIS- TRICT EVENTS, YOU MUST CONTACT MR. LILLY OR MS. GLADYS BY THURSDAY, APRIL 9TH. I am extremely proud of you and I know that you will want to do your best when representing Jefferson County. If you have questions or concerns please contact Mr. Lilly at (80) 342-0187. I ve learned that you are not an adult until you accept responsibility for your own actions and quit blaming everything on the way your parents reared you. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I ve learned that good or bad, most things don t last very long. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I ve learned that the easiest way to find happiness is to quit complaining. EASTER BUNNY SOFT AND WHITE Easter bunny soft and white, Hopping quickly out of sight. Bringing treats and goodies too. I wish I could play with you. Turn around, don t hop away, Maybe you can stay and play! You can feel when spring is nearing by the breeze in the air; It is much warmer than the breeze we used to share. New life sprouts like flowers in full bloom; You can tell when spring is coming because you don t see gloom. You see new life forming all around this creation; This beautiful life reminds me of a great inspiration. The trees grow leaves so birds can make nests; The poor Mama bird will never stop to rest. The grass turns green when the springtime breeze drifts in; All the cubs and bears will come out of their winter dens. The river flows with water so blue; Waiting for someone to swim in it, like you. In the spring, on the prairie, you can watch the horses run; Now you see with the springtime breeze comes a lot of fun! By: Lori Waguespack, 1999
