Overview Why enroll for this programme at VIVES UNIVERSITY COLLEGE? International Management is an Advanced Bachelor designed for recent graduates and young professionals who wish to develop their career in an international company. The programme provides you with a solid professional knowledge enabling you to master business operations in foreign countries, more specifically in Asia, Africa, and Europe. It also offers real-life experiences in multicultural environments. The programme aims at enabling you to develop a strategic vision, build your confidence, teach you how to work in teams and develop your hands-on management skills. Objectives After attending this programme: You will have a profound knowledge of management You will master the knowledge and skills required in key managerial positions: leadership, people management and longterm planning You will have acquired a solid knowledge of entrepreneurship, perseverance, motivation, emotional intelligence and initiative You will have worked on and developed your social, problem-solving and communication skills and your ability for teamwork and leadership You will be able to examine global issues from an international perspective You will have the skills to work in an international business environment.

Curriculum What is this programme about? The Advanced Bachelor International Management Programme is a 12-month full-time programme in VIVES campus Kortrijk, Belgium. During the final three months you will be doing an internship in a country of your own choice. The programme combines professional courses with an in-depth view of all functional areas of management, competence development in different business environments and team building for international consulting projects. You will be able to take on a business language course: Dutch, French or English. The programme is taught in an interactive way. You are expected to actively participate in class discussions, analyse business cases, prepare business presentations, report by means of group papers and engage in computer-assisted exercises. The programme consists of 11 modules.

Participants For whom? Career level: recent graduates with a bachelor degree preferably in the field of business, bachelor degrees in other fields of study can apply but will be evaluated by a special board. Young professionals (maximum 3 years work experience) with a strong interest in management who want to develop their career in a multinational company. Student profile (2016-2017): Number of students 26 female 40% male 60% Age range 22-37 Admission Candidates should hold a degree that represents 3 years of full-time study at university college level, resulting in a bachelor s degree (a full-time, 3/4-year curriculum, excluding orientation or preparatory years). It is possible to apply before you have completed your studies. In this case, the selection procedure will take place under the assumption that you graduate from your present studies before starting the programme. Fluency in English level B2, both written and spoken is required.

Tuition Fee EU students 906,10. Registration open as off November 15, 2016 closing of registration: Students with a Belgian diploma can apply until August 31, 2017. However since we only admit a limited number of students, applications should preferably be submitted before July 10, 2017. Students with a European diploma can apply until July 10, 2017. Students from non-eu countries who are already in Belgium with a visa and have a diploma from abroad can apply before May 31, 2017 Students coming from non-eu countries who need a visa, the application should be made as soon as possible but certainly before the closing date of March 31, 2017.
