Freedom means the opportunity to be what we never thought wewouldbe The freedom that we are enjoying today is a result of the unstinted efforts of our freedom fighters.
As per the guidelines of the Ministry of HRD, New Delhi, Pawar Public School, Chandivali, Mumbai geared up for the project%freedom Fortnight.&
Activity 1 Students and facilitators got together, brainstormed and decided tobringthewallsoftheschoolalivewithpictorialdepictionofthe Indian Freedom Struggle from 1857 to 1947.
Activity 1 We recreated a gallery on each of our six floors with huge sun boards showcasing the struggle and sacrifice of both the known and the lesser known heroes of our freedom struggle. Teachers, staff and students worked passionately compiling data for this gallery.

Activity 6 12 th August 2016 Little Gandhi, Nehru, Rani Laxmibai, Mangal Pandey & Bhagat Singh rallied through the corridors of our school shouting slogans in their innocent voices.

Activity 9 15 th August 2016. Independence Day celebrations The tricolor was hoisted by the senior most and the youngest facilitator (in terms of age). Patriotic songs were sung by the Performing Arts Department.

Activity 9 15 th August, 2016 Students from Grade 6 to 8 sang the patriotic song Chanda Chamke Suraj Chamke, Humara Pyara Desh Hari Bhari Dharti Wali HaiD. This song reflects the supreme patriotic spirit of all Indians.
Activity 10 16 th August, 2016 Special Assembly Students of Grade 4 & 5 focussedthat the journey of freedom struggle did not end in 1947. A skit depicting the struggle of Forest Man of India, Mr. Jadhav Molai Peyangwasenacted.Thismancreatedawildforestinabout1360acresof land single handedly. He was conferred with Padma Shri Award in 2015.
Activity 11 18 th August, 2016 Special Assembly A discussion on %What can I do formycountry?&washeld.itwas impressed on the students that it is not necessary to become a soldier to serve your country. Small deeds like a cleanliness drive, following traffic rules, saving water and our environment etc. are also service to the nation.
Activity 12 19 th August, 2016 Special Assembly Skit showcasing the greatness and valour of the revolutionaries, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev& Rajguru. Students enacted their role to perfection and inspired the student audience in the assembly with feeling of patriotism.
Activity 13 22 nd August 2016 Students of Grade 1 to 9 made greeting cards under the guidance of the Art & Craft department for our soldiers who guard the borders of our country.

Activity 14 23 rd August, 2016 Mass Rendition of the National Anthem Pawar Public School, Chandivali, Mumbai concluded % AZAADI 708 the Freedom Fortnight& with the mass rendition of the National Anthem on 23 rd August, 2016 at the strike of 11:00 a.m. Important and relevant information about our National Anthem was shared with each and every member of the school
