Personal Learning Plans Each student at Northeast Range High School will have a Personal Learning Plan (PLP). A student s PLP will provide the format for students, parents and teachers to develop specific goals for each student in the areas of academics, behavior, attendance and life/career readiness. The PLP will also provide the means for communication between students, parents and teachers. Advisory Groups Each student at Northeast Range High School will be assigned to an Advisory Group. Advisory Groups will meet each Wednesday. A small group of students will be assigned to a faculty member and will provide individual support to students. The advisor will also be the case manager of their students PLP. Tutoring on Flex Wednesday Math instructors will provide remedial math instruction on Wednesdays though individual tutoring and small group instruction. English and Social Studies teachers will provide remedial reading/writing tutoring and small group instruction on Wednesdays as well. Participation in tutoring and small group instruction will be based on the goals in the PLP and MCA assessment data. Tutoring and small group remediation will be available grades 7 12.
