Welcome to Tamworth Public School. This is our principal, Mr Preston. He looks after all the children, families and staff.

Here are our Deputy Principals, Mr Everingham and Mrs Everingham. They also look after all the children, their families and the teachers. Our lovely front office ladies are: Mrs Seach Miss Westman Mrs McIntosh This is our School Counsellor, Erica. She is caring and a great listener.

This is Mrs Hindmarsh. She teaches Kindergarten in Crawford Building with all the other Kinder teachers. Crawford Building This is Mrs Poole. She teaches in Sternbeck building and she looks after all the children and teachers in Year 1 and 2. Sternbeck Building

This is Mrs Wainright. She teaches Year 3/4 in one of our demountables. She helps all the children and teachers in Years 3 and 4. This is Mr Squires. He teaches in Torrens Building. He looks after all the teachers and children in Years 5 and 6.

Mrs Stewart and Mrs Delohery are the Learning and Support Teachers. They will work with your class teacher to help you learn and settle into our school. This is Mrs Kurtz. She is our Teacher Librarian. She will read wonderful stories to you and help you borrow great books to take home.

Kindergarten Orientation 2015 Welcome to Kindergarten! This is Mrs Griffiths This is Mrs Peoples She teaches in Kinder Rainbow class. She teaches in Kinder Bears class. This is Mrs Unsworth This is Mrs Roach She teaches in Kinder Stars She teaches in Kinder Bilbies They teach in Kinder Smilies class Here are Mrs Hindmarsh and Mrs Klingsh We are looking forward to seeing you learn and play at our school.

Here is the canteen The children in Kinder, Year and Year 2 line up on this side to buy food. You can see the Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 girls toilets near the bubblers. This is the other side of the canteen. The children in Year3, 4, 5 and 6 line up on this side to buy food.

This is Lennon Building. There are mostly Year 2 and Year 3 classes in this building. This is Torrens Building. There are Year 4, 5 and 5 classes in this building. Mr Preston, Mr and Mrs Everingham and the Front Office are in this building.

The computer room is in Torrens Building. The Hall is next to Torrens Building. Many classes have gymnastics in the hall each Thursday.

This is the staffroom for the teachers. Sternbeck Building This is the computer room inside Sternbeck Building.

Playing and Eating Areas This is the NOLA. It means New Outdoor Learning Area. Years 1 and 2 line up here in the mornings. Kindergarten eat here at recess and lunch. All children in Kinder, Year 1 and 2 can play here at lunchtime. Next to the NOLA is the infant oval. Children in Year 1 and Year 2 can play here at recess and lunch.

This is the play equipment. Year 1 can play here on Mondays. Year 2 can play here on Tuesdays. Kinder can play here on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. This is the COLA. It means Covered Outdoor Learning Area. All children in years Kinder to Year 2 can play here.

This is the Infants Quad. It is between the COLA and Crawford Building. All Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 children can play here. This is the K-2 Lunchtime Program area. We play handball, soccer, skipping, ball games and cars. We also play with the construction set, the train set, picnics or whatever game you like on the verandah.

The Primary students play on the Primary Oval, in the Primary Quad, cricket in the cricket nets near the Primary Quad, and they play on the handball courts next to the Primary Quad.

Eating Areas: Kindergarten eat in the NOLA at recess and lunch. Year 1 eat at the picnic tables behind Sternbeck Building at lunchtime. Year 2 eat in the COLA at recess and lunchtime. Year 1 eat in the COLA only at recess time. Year 3 and 4 eat their lunch under the shade cloth. Year 3 and 4 eat their recess in the Primary Quad. Year 5 and 6 eat both their recess and lunch in the Primary Quad.

At home time This is the back of Crawford Building. All the children who get the bus home line up here for the bus in the afternoon. Some children also line up for the bus in the NOLA at home time. This is Bourke Street pick up area. Children wait here on the green seats for their parents to take them home.

This is the boys toilets. The boys in Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 use this entrance. The boys in Year 3,4,5 and Year 6 use this entrance. This is the girls toilets for girls in Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2. The girls in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 use the primary girls toilets near the library.

When you arrive in the morning and go home in the afternoon, you need to make sure you use the gates that say Safe Entry Point. You are ONLY allowed to walk in and out of these gates with this green sign. No student is allowed to walk through the car park gate. It is not safe.
