Diploma of Commerce In 2015, Central will be offering the Diploma of Commerce, a one year course that guarantees you entry into the second year of Curtin University s Bachelor of Commerce. You will study 8 units over 2 semesters. In the first semester you will study 4 core units, Introduction to Accounting, Economics, Management and Marketing. In the second semester your core subjects will be Introduction to Business Information Systems and Business law, and you will be able to choose 2 elective units from Accounting (Managerial), Business Statistics, Consumer Behaviour, Macro Economics or Organisational Behaviour. This course is suitable for people who: - Completed Year 12 but did not obtain an ATAR Successfully completed a Certificate IV vocational qualification or a School to Central pathway course Did not meet university minimum ATAR entry requirements Are of mature aged (age 21 or over) and did not meet university minimum entry requirements.
