ITSC 1309 INTEGRATED SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS I MS OFFICE 2003 LAB ASSIGNMENT WORKSHEET CCCCD Office Systems Technology Daily Flex Entry NAME SECTION STARTING DATE OF CLASS ENDING DATE This worksheet lists your assignments and tests for Integrated Software Applications. Use it to record your progress. Identify your documents as shown below. Do not deviate from the file-naming system given for each assignment. Use a header to place your initials, document name, and page number on the upper right corner unless another header would interfere and then you need to use a footer. For more information, see handout. (You may neatly handwrite this information at the bottom of the document ONLY for Access and PowerPoint assignments, or if this is the only way for the information to show.) Your Initials:Document Name Example yo:word S1-01, p. 6 Each completed exercise within each section will receive a check mark ( ) or X (unacceptable) when graded. Each activity in the Skills Review section and each assessment in the Performance Plus section receives a grade based on 100 points. Ten points are deducted for each typographical or formatting error. See the Grading Procedures sheet for Integrated Skills Review grading. This course consists of 64 contact hours. The following list of assignments is divided into time needed to complete each assignment. Depending on your skills, you may finish each assignment faster than the time listed, or you may take longer than the time listed. Based on your starting date and the days and times you choose to attend class, you must schedule yourself to work the necessary hours to complete the course by the end of the semester. You may complete the course as early as you want or use the entire semester. Your assignments begin at Word Section 1, not at the beginning of the book. Complete all assignments within a section before submitting them to be graded. Remember to identify documents as directed above and to place assignments for each section in sequential order. Otherwise, the assignment will be returned ungraded. Proofread carefully before submitting assignments. See assignments on the following page. The student data files needed for many of your assignments are available on the student CD or at the publisher s website. These files are also available at the college on drive I under your course number. You will be given access to this drive on your first class day. NOTE: Although you will benefit from not having to actually submit every single exercise, you are expected to work through each one on your own and will be responsible for understanding the concepts and how to apply them accurately. For example, you may need to practice certain exercises in order to be able to complete a required Skills Review activity or Performance Plus assessment assignment. The following select list of exercises, activities, and assessments must be submitted for credit. Any item with an underline requires a printout.
