Participants all had great and unforgettable experience from this unique and eye-opening informative program. Besides making new friends from all over the world, they got to learn and know Taiwan well and grew to love the extraordinary and unique culture and history of Taiwan. We ve come to realize that this mode of cultural exchange will be the most effective and down-to-earth approach to develop and promote positive and close relationships between our sister schools around the world. For that reason, we would like to invite more international scholars and students to take part in this year s program- 2011 Wenzao Summer School Program for our sister schools, hoping that more people around the world can come to Taiwan and learn to speak. This program is a special and exciting 3-week Taiwan Experience Studies Camp and is especially designed for international students and teachers to learn and explore more about Taiwan from different perspectives. We will keep the framework of the Camp of the last three years and add more depth and richness in academic exchange by 1

inviting all participants to present their own university and their topic of academic interest, and volunteering service with local students and community. For the Taiwan lectures, topics like studying and exploring Taiwan s unique ecological system, diverse cultural characteristics, traditional customs and festivals and the abundant eating and drinking culture can be further introduced to the international participants. For the traditional hands-on activities, the integration of contemporary and the traditional folk arts and crafts, music and play show the unique development of Taiwanese culture and history. Also, the Culture Night activities intentionally designed for international youth to present their own culture and tradition by dancing, singing and acting will provide a wonderful platform for the international youth across the world to learn different culture and tradition and creativeness from each other. Further, we will recruit and train more enthusiastic Wenzao teachers and students to receive these coming international participants in the most popular and welcomed homestay program to make them an unforgettable and valuable Taiwan family experience.
