Sir/Madam, As per instructions of Govt. of India DOPT, New Delhi, the Regional Central Govt. Employees Coordination Committee has to raise at least 5% funds by subscription to be contributed by all the members of central Govt. Offices for obtaining grant-in-aid for each year from the Govt. of India. As per norms fixed by DOPT, New Delhi the slab of minimum annual subscription is as under:- Sr. Total staff strength Annual Subscription 1. Staff strength upto 25 Employees in the office Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only) 2. Staff strength more than 25 employees in the office Rs 1000/- (Rs. CGEWCC/38-Y/RC/CHD/2010-6233-6330 dated 5 th July, 2010 followed by subsequent reminder issued vide letter no. CGEWCC/Contribution/2010-11/ dated 18.01.2011 and no. 254-375 dated 19.05.2011 may please be referred to vide which Heads of offices/heads of Departments of Central Government were requested to deposit annual subscription for the year 2009-10 and 2010-11 by 20 th July. 2010 & 5 th February, 2011 and 10 th June, 2011 respectively. Despite lapse of considerable period the subscriptions have not been deposited by your office so far. The subscription for the year 2011-12 has also become due to be deposited with CGEWCC. Non-depositing of annual subscription has been view seriously by the Chairman of CGEWCC in the meeting held on 06.09.2011 and made appeal to all the members to send their pending contributions so that annual cultural programme be chalked out. Thus there is a dire need of collection of revenue for running various Welfare activities.
