TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Age of the candidate should not exceed 35 years for Senior Resident and 30 years for Junior Resident and Tutor as on the date of interview. Age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government of India Rules. 2. PH Candidates OA & OL category can also apply for the above posts mentioned if found eligible based on the eligibility criteria mentioned in the website. 3. Educational Qualifications and experience: Senior Resident Junior Resident Tutor / M.Sc (Medical Anatomy) for non-medical persons /M.Sc (Medical Physiology) for non-medical persons /M,Sc (Medical Bio-Chemistry) for non-medical persons /M.Sc (Medical Pharmacology) for non-medical persons /M.Sc (Medical Microbiology) for non medical persons a. from an MCI recognized Medical Institution b. A Post graduate degree or DNB or DIPLOMA with one year teaching experience (TOTAL 3YEARS EXPERIENCE IN MCI RECOGNIZED TEACHING INSTIUTION) in the concerned speciality from MCI recognized Medical Colleges from an MCI recognized Medical Institution Anatomy Physiology Bio Chemistry Pharmacology Microbiology Pathology Community Medicine Forensic Medicine 4. Medical degree holders should have registered with MCI or State Medical Council. No registration is necessary for non-medical candidates but they should have passed out from MCI recognised institution. 5. EMOLUMENTS: a. FOR SENIOR RESIDENTS HOLDING PG DEGREE OR DIPLOMA: Initial Pay Rs18750/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- in the PB 3 (15600-39100) as per CCS (Revised) Pay Rules 2008. In addition, NPA, DA (as revised from time to time) HRA & TA as are applicable to similar Medical Officers under Govt. of India is payable. Emoluments works out to Rs.72914/- (approx.) per month. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed b. FOR JUNIOR RESIDENTS/TUTORS: Initial Pay Rs15600/- plus Grade Pay-Rs.5400/- in the PB 3 (15600-39100) as per CCS (Revised) Pay Rules 2008. In addition, NPA, DA (as revised from time to time) HRA & TA as are applicable to similar Medical Officers under Govt. of India is payable. Emoluments works out to Rs.60950/- (approx.) and Rs 49400 (approx.) per month for Medical and Nonmedical graduates respectively. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed. 6. Reservation to various categories will be applicable as per Government of India Rules. (Posts may be filled up by other category candidates as per extant policy of ESIC, in the event of non-availability of candidates from the specified category concerned. The appointment /engagement of Senior Residents and Tutors will be initially for one year tenure basis subject to satisfactory performance and on need basis extendable up to a period of 3 years under Residency scheme.the tenure of Junior Residents is for one year only. 8. Selected candidates will have no claim for regularization of the services in the hospital/medical Institution 9. The selected candidates have to deposit security amount of Rs. 4,000/- at the time of joining. 10. The Senior/Junior Resident has to wear his/her own white coat with name badge during the duty hours. 11. The appointment is subject to Medical Fitness and verification of character and antecedents. 12. No TA/DA will be admissible for joining the post 13. The Senior/Junior Residents/Tutors so selected will be required to submit acceptance / consent letter in writing before appearing for medical examination. 14. The Senior/Junior Residents/Tutors at any time found guilty of any gross misconduct or negligence of his/her duties shall be terminated without any notice or payment in lieu of notice period. 15. The absence from work for a period of fifteen days without proper permission of the competent authority will amount to voluntary abandonment of engagement and automatic termination. 16. They will also be required to attend emergency and floor duty and other clinical duty as assigned by the Medical Superintendent or his/her subordinate authority authorized 17. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately or the date indicated in the offer of appointment/ engagement likely to be issued. 18. The Senior/Junior Residents so engaged will be required to sign a contract devised for the purpose on a stamp paper of Rs.100/- 19.
