Academic Procession 9.30 a.m - The Academic Procession forms in front of the Parking Yard 9.50 a.m - Music Interlude 10.00 a.m - Band leads the Academic Procession to the Graduation Venue in the following order: Two student representatives Members of Academic Staff of PUC and other invited universities/colleges Members of Senate /Management Board Deans of Schools Senior Assistant Registrars Deputy Vice-Chancellors of other invited universities Principals of other invited colleges/ campuses 5

The Chancellor s Procession 10.15am - The Band leads the Chancellor s Procession in the following order: Deputy Principals of PUC Deputy Vice-Chancellors of Kenyatta University Commission for Higher Education Representative Members of the PUC Council. Ceremony at the Graduation Venue Members of the Assembly stand up as the Academic and Chancellor s Processions enter the Graduation Venue Kenya National Anthem Members of the congregation sit after the Chancellor has taken his seat The Vice-Chancellor constitutes the Assembly as the congregation of PUC Prayers followed by Entertainment Principal addresses the congregation The Vice-Chancellor addresses, and invites the Chairman of Council to address, the congregation The Chairman of the Council makes his remarks and invites the Minister for Higher Education, Science and Technology to address the congregation 6
