What the students say: It is way easier [than Moodle] to navigate through for looking up class assignments, checking due dates, and the ability to find professor s contact info and office hours. I love that Google classroom gives me instant notifications on my phone when assignments or comments are posted. It provides a to-do list of assignments in the order of their due dates to keep you on track and notice in Google Calendar. This is my first time using it and I already like it way more than I do Moodle which I've had to use for years now.
What the students still say: I prefer Google Classroom because of it's easy access, notifications, the ease of submitting assignments, and the option to download the app to make logging in easier. What I like is that whenever anything important is posted you get an immediate notification in an email. It s easy to answer surveys and class discussions. The layout of google classroom is more organized than Moodle and lines up with all other Google accounts easily.
