Graduation Requirements Students must meet the following requirements to graduate and earn a LEISD Diploma: Complete the requirements for: Foundation High School Program with an Endorsement (26 credits) OR Distinguished Level of Achievement with an Endorsement (26 credits) Meet State Assessment Requirements

Foundation High School Program (FHSP) 22 Credits 4 credits of English 3 credits of Math Algebra I, Geometry, 1 Additional Math 3 credits of Science Biology, IPC or Chemistry, 1 Additional Science 3 credits of Social Studies World History, US History, Govt/Eco 2 credits of Languages Other Than English 1 credit of PE or PE Substitute
Foundation High School Program (FHSP) 22 Credits 1 credit of Fine Arts 0.5 credit of Health 4.5 credits of Electives STAAR EOC Level II Satisfactory scale scores is required in each subject area (English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology, and US History) Restrictions, required meeting and Principal approval to graduate with only the FHSP- 22 credits. The goal is for each student to graduate with an endorsement.

Planning for High School Schedule: LEHS students have the opportunity to earn 7 credits per year-7 class periods. Credits: Students must earn 26 required state credits in order to graduate. High school credits are earned by semester. 0.5 credit is earned for 1 semester (1 year = 2 semesters) 1.0 credit is earned for a full year Example: Eng IA = 0.5 credit in the fall semester Eng IB = 0.5 credit in the spring semester Total of 1.0 credit for English I
