SOLARO ADMINISTRATION PORTAL

From the Admin portal you could add and delete teacher accounts. Manage student accounts (The Admin is the only one who can add or deleted students in Solaro) They manage the active student list to make sure the licenses are being used by accounts that are currently in use. They could also disable a students account. (Removing licenses/classes from students) They could also reset passwords and or send activation emails to teachers On the top/middle of the Admin interface page of Solaro you will see teachers/students underlined. Make sure you are in the right portal when trying to make changes in the appropriate area. As the administrator of the school you have the ability to create a class on the teachers behalf clicking on ADD NEW CLASS after you select the correct teacher out on the main admin interface. ADMIN PORTAL

GETTING STARTED ON SOLARO You will receive an email for activation to set up your Solaro teacher Account. **Part of the process to give you Admin Privileges.

Once, you accept and activate your account you will be prompt to change your password. **Please check that you have read the Terms of Service.

LOGGING IN Log in using your email and your password you have created. Once logged in it will take you to the School Administration interface for Solaro.

ADMIN INTERFACE This is what you will see once you logged in. This is where you would manage the teacher /student accounts. You are responsible to add the teachers. There is 2 ways you could do this. Manually add them in and fill out the requested fields. Or if you have more than 10 teachers you can upload a file. We will be more than happy to send the CVS file that needs to be filled and uploaded into Solaro.

HOW TO UPLOAD CSV FILE AND FORMAT

ADDING A TEACHER Creating a new teacher account you re going to Click the ADD TEACHER button and you will be brought to this page Once you fill out the required fields on this page select ADD TEACHER Now an email will be sent to the teacher with an activation link that will allow the teacher to sign into the Teacher Portal of Solaro.

After you filled out the required information on the previous page, you will be brought here. The teachers that will have access to Solaro now shall appear here. You are able to tell the last login of a teacher also if the teacher hasn t signed in yet. If that is the case then you could resend the invite. Also, could reset their passwords for them if they forgot theirs. You will have basic access to the teacher profile with stuff like their class lists, changing their Teacher Email Address, Edit Teacher Profile

DELETING A TEACHER ACCOUNT When deleting a teacher from your school, click the X on the same line of the teachers name By doing so this message (the image below) will appear. If you decide to remove the teacher they will no longer have access to the Solaro materials via your school. Any class information such as students or assignments they created will NOT be saved. ** IF THE TEACHER YOU ARE REMOVING IS BEING REPLACED. ITS EASIER JUST TO UPDATE THE TEACHER PROFILE WITH THE NEW TEACHERS INFORMATION SO THE CLASS LISTS /ASSIGNMENTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE**

ACCESS THE STUDENTS LISTS When logged in the admin portal and select the students interface. This is where you will see all the students in your school that are registered with Solaro. You will see the students information displayed such as first/last name, grade level, student Solaro Username, and date of last login, could also reset student password Shows the number of classes each students is taking and also the number of Solaro licenses that are being used from that student.

By selecting the students name this is what will appear. You will see the list of classes he/she may be enrolled in. Their last login There stars they earned by completing tasks and review. **The more they do in Solaro when they log in they earn Stars for their avatars. Which they could style how they want but they have to purchase accessories with the stars they earned. More stars they earn the more they could unlock.

CREATING NEW STUDENT ACCOUNTS When selecting ADD STUDENTS on the student interface of the Admin Portal you will be brought to this page where you would fill in the fields with the proper information You also will have the option of creating multiple student accounts (enter each name on a separate line in the format ex: John Smith)if they are not in your Solaro Students Lists already You could also select the password for the students you are creating for when they log in. Select Choose a Password and click CREATE STUDENTS ***TAKE NOTE : WHEN FINISHED CREATING THE STUDENT PROFILES NOTE THE USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD TO BE GIVEN TO THE STUDENT/TEACHER. Teacher could search new student if needed to add to class, also so student has record of their Password/Username

DISABLE A STUDENT ACCOUNT You as an administrator is responsible for managing the active students in the Solaro by removing licenses/classes or by removing the students from the school. By doing this you will find it in the last column on the student interface of the Admin Portal.

REMOVING LICENSES AND CLASSES You would do this action if you would like to suspend an active student account cause they wont be using Solaro for a period of time, but could be used again in the future. Removing all the licenses will make the student account inactive but the student will still remain enrolled in the school so the teachers will still be able to add the student in class ** Common Reasons to use Remove License Suspending student account (Summer Holidays) Student might not need Solaro access at the time but is enroll in the school still Student changing grades mid year and needs to be removed from original class

Common reasons you will use this function: REMOVE USER FROM SCHOOL The student is no longer associated to the school and not returning in the near future. The school is no longer paying for student s Solaro Account Deleting a duplicate account
