MY EXPERIENCE AS A STUDENT AT YORK At York I was constantly challenged to think independently, try out new activities and make the most of my time. York is a research-intensive Russell Group university and it s a very inclusive place, so wherever you re from, you ll get the chance to follow your passion and learn from some incredibly talented people. As soon as you arrive, you ll become part of the friendly University community, surrounded by a green and open campus, with the historic and beautiful city of York as a backdrop. WE ARE SET IN 500 ACRES OF LANDSCAPED CAMPUS, JUST OUTSIDE THE HISTORIC CENTRE OF THE CITY OF YORK LIFE ON CAMPUS Our campus has a safe and friendly atmosphere with bars, shops, firstclass sports facilities, a swimming pool, health centre, theatres and concert halls, all within easy walking distance.
