Implementation Plans at VET provider level At least, VET providers from three countries intend to use the European Peer Review in future: Finland (Jyväskylä Catering College) Netherlands (ROC Aventus) UK-Scotland (Aberdeen College, Stow College, Dumfries & Galloway College) Moreover, Members from the following Networks are considering the use of the European Peer Review: CIOFS/FP (IT) Benchmarking partners of the Jyväskylä Catering College (FIN) Partners of ROC Aventus (NL) Universities within the National Board for Quality in VET (P) Glasgow College (UK-SCO). 7
Concrete Implementation Plans at Regional/National Level Austria: Ministry for Education plans to integrate Peer Reviews in the nation-wide VET Quality Initiative (QIBB). Financial support for conduct of Peer Reviews. Pädagogische Hochschule will provide training courses for peers. Finland: The official Quality Recommendations for VET will advise the use of Peer Reviews (needs to be confirmed by Ministry of Education). Italy: ISFOL plans to integrate Peer Reviews in the regional Programs for Quality of Education and Training (needs to be confirmed by political stakeholders) Portugal: ISQ plans to convince the National Bodies for Quality in VET (e.g. Institute for Quality in VET, National Unit for Quality in Certification) to integrate the European Peer Review in their QM systems UK-Scotland: The Review Teams (HMIe Inspectors, who conduct mandatory external reviews once every 4 years) are interested on the European Peer Review Procedure and plan to embed this methodology in their next Review Cycle. 8
