Duties: Writing, producing and on-camera reporting for "It s A Kid Thing," a weekly segment within the "Evening Magazine" format of destinations and activities in the Bay Area for family fun. KEWE/KORV Radio 1992-1993: Disc jockey and part-time news director. Duties: Researching music trivia for a twice weekly oldies radio show, writing news, weather and sports for hourly news broadcast, filling in for news director as needed for special events and live remote broadcasts. ANCILIARY MEDIA Documentary filmmaker: current project is The Token from Montgomery Cross Road, a documentary on school desegregation in 1965 and its impact on an African American family in Savannah, Georgia. PROFESSIONAL THEATER and DRAMA EXPERIENCE Spring 2004: On-screen role in an educational video produced by an eight-time Emmy Award-winning director for Ripple Effects software company. The Improv Club: 2002-2006 Served as emcee six times and performed stand-up comedy numerous times at The Improv, San Jose s premier live comedy club.

Evergreen Valley United Methodist Church: (December 2002) Directed the Christmas Cantata. Birdcage Theater (1991-1993): Served on the Board of Directors for four years (two years as vice president). Directed and acted in award-winning plays for the community theater. Received Best Director Award for The Gin Game. Performed lead roles in Steel Magnolias, Plaza Suite, Evening of Poetry and Prose and The Senator Wore Panty Hose. Directed You Know I Can t Hear You When the Water s Running, Bell, Book and Candle and The Gin Game. WORK EXPERIENCE American Medical Devices (1982-1986): Marketing manager. Duties: Responsible for all aspects of literature, brochure and advertising production from initial concept to final design. Created booth displays and promotional items for numerous medical conventions nationwide. Wrote and directed two videos for nurse educators and epidemiologists, coordinated multi-unit slide presentations and produced audio taped cassettes for staff and dealer training. Photo Graphics Gallery (1974-82): Owner. Duties: Managed custom lab and photo gallery. Responsible for all aspects of running a thriving business including training and supervising a staff of 12, planning gallery displays, lectures, openings and receptions.
