Learning about where you live is always important. My students had a fabulous time and learned a great deal! I know this will be a topic of discussion and excitement for them for days to come. Thank you! Children will love traveling back into time on the Boca Express. A wonderful experience for any Boca Raton resident! Great job! Kids learned a lot. Thanks. Students were extremely excited before the trip. Hands-on education is what excites the children and you did it. Learned more about Boca Raton s history on this field trip than all of 30 years living here. Students loved the role playing - props really topped the lesson. Can t wait til next year. Students were given an opportunity to role-play and go back in time to capture a first-hand experience of how train travel impacted the growth of Florida. What a wonderful experience for local students. Far too often, we know so little, if anything, about the history of the town we live in. The Ticket To Ride program was a great opportunity for the students to experience an important part of the history in the city they live and play in. The dressing up and role playing really helped the children get a real hands on experience. They are sure to get a lot out of this train experience. An exceptional learning experience for the students. Every Boca Raton student should know the history of our great city. My students were engaged & enjoyed the hands on experience of role playing life in the 1940s. Once again we had a great time.a meaningful journey back to Boca Raton s history. Thank you! We find that Ms. Jones is an amazing instructor who is able to incorporate (sometimes) dry material with a fun, age appropriate experience. Kids don t always express an interest in history, unfortunately and this field trip helps them to identify with it. It is very important for students to visit past history, in order to preserve and understand events that make our history so great. This is maybe just the thing that will encourage them to try harder as they progress through school. Very good program.

Fun and informative - hands on. I wish there were many more opportunities for the children to experience, outside the classroom, that was as wonderful as this trip. Mrs. Jones bring Boca History alive! This is our favorite trip!!! Since the 5 th Grade studies American History, the students had an excellent learning experience. Also, the students are able to study their parts previous to the field trip. In addition, the presenter is terrific.

The Ticket To Ride program is an excellent program for children to become an active part of the learning process. Students were able to journey back in time (1947) to re-enact a day in the history of their city-boca Ratone. You can tell that Ms. Jones, our presenter, enjoys her job. The students commented that this was their favorite field trip. Great job! The kids had fun & learned some history about Boca Raton. We always enjoy our journey back in time to learn about Boca s History. We enjoyed the movie this year. Very interactive.
