Date(s) of Initiative Event(s): October 25, 2014 The Northwest Louisiana Community Development Corporation is focused on enhancing the quality of life for individuals. The organization is getting ready to open up a transitional home to help those young boys who need just that extra push in life. The organization held a fashion show entitled Art in Movement to help raise money to support the transition home. The fashion show was held at Sci-Port off of Clyde Fant Parkway in Shreveport. It started at 7 p.m. and there was a $20 donation which will help support the transitional home for boys. Date(s) of Initiative Event(s): October 31, 2014 3 rd Annual College and Career Fair KSLA attended the 3 rd Annual College and Career Fair at Sam Houston Elementary School in Marshall, TX. Students where organized in small groups that rotated from table to table. KSLA interacted with each group and described career opportunities, educational requirements, workforce standards, and general requirements for pursuing that career.
