Duration (Time Frame) The Undergraduate Degree programme for a regular student shall be for a minimum period of three years and a maximum of five years from the date of admission of the candidate. Each academic year shall comprise of two semesters, viz. Odd and Even semesters. Odd Semesters shall be from June / July to October / November Even Semester shall be from November / December to April / May.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF SUBJECT AND THEIR COURSES The Undergraduate (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com.) programme consist of following categories of courses: (i) Major /Core (Choose only one) Subject and its courses (Max. 14) (ii) Elective/Minor subject( Choose any two) and its courses (Min 10 Max. 13 a minimum of 5 from each) (iii) Compulsory courses (Min. 3 Max.6) (iv) General Interest and Hobby Courses. (Min 1 Max.3) Note: Maximum Number of Seats available in each of the Major subjects: 60. given on the bases or Merit in 10+2 Exams. Maximum no of seat available in the minor subjects are 120 per subject. Reservation will be given as per the university guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria 10+2 Pass in the Senior Secondary Examination or Equivalent as accepted by H. P. University. Further provided that 10+2 Science (M & NM) will be given preference in Admission to B.Sc., B.C.A. 10+2 Commerce will be given preference in B. Com., B.B.A. 10+2 Arts will be given preference in Humanities arts (B.A.) 10+2 with a least one subject as Math will be given preference in B.C.A. Candidate can any subject of their choice irrespective of their 10+2 Stream, whether arts science or commerce etc.
