What is the Selection process? Can I apply for another HEC MSc program as a second choice? How long is the duration of the Program? Candidates interested by HEC Master in Management Grande Ecole Program must undergo a specific admission procedure. Please note that they are exempted from the common ParisTech written exam but must take instead the GMAT or GRE test. IMPORTANT: Candidates can apply for both ParisTech Engineering Schools and the HEC MiM. When and how to apply for scholarships? What are the teaching languages? 1. Eiffel Scholarship: beginning of January each year. Candidates must have secured their seat financially to apply for this grant by end of December. Please note, that candidates cannot apply individually as applications must be prepared and transmitted to Egide by January by HEC. Only complete applications will be transferred to Egide. 2. Students study the mandatory management courses in M1 year in English and students having a good level in French may take electives in French. Non French speaking students are required to study a French language course during the first semester of M1 and may continue the whole year and the second year if the schedule allows it. All students are offered to take the French CEF test at all levels. IMPORTANT: In order to apply for Eiffel, students must have submitted their GMAT or GRE before the admissions jury beginning of December and must have secured their seat financially What is the duration of the studies? 2 academic years. When does the company internship take place? What is the Gap Year? Is it mandatory? Which degree will I be awarded? To graduate from HEC Master in Management Grande Ecole, students must validate a minimum of 30 weeks of internship. Students who already have previous management related work/internship experience may apply for partial exemption up to a maximum of 15 weeks. In general students take advantage of the Gap Year to complete the internship requirement but may also work in summer between the Master 1 and Master 2 year and complete the remaining requirement after the Master 2 year. The Gap Year, a one year break between Master 1 and Master 2, is not mandatory but is an option that most of the students choose. This is a unique opportunity to spend one year in the workplace in order to gain professional experience and extra exposure on your CV. It is also an opportunity to test' a particular field of activity, a time to consider changing career and goals and to think about your choice of specialization. Some specializations require a least one internship in the field of the specialization before the start of the program. Students admitted to ParisTech programme and who successfully complete the requirements will obtain the HEC Grande Ecole Master Degree. HEC does not find internships for each student but the close links to the corporate world with prestigious companies and the reputation of the School are useful. The HEC Career services also organizes specific internship/job fairs, coordinates the job intranet, organize specific seminars all over the year and offers personal coaching to students. What are the requirement to graduate Total number of ECTS credits: 120 (M1: 60, M2: 60) Research Paper 30 weeks of internship. Is TCF/TEF score required for Visa application? Does HEC Paris provide on campus accommodation? What about social life? No. HEC offers housing possibilities to all international students under the condition that they book the room by the given deadline. Living expenses are approximately 1000 /month housing included (500 600 per month). In order to make the best out of the HEC experience, all students studying at HEC are encouraged to join at least one or two student associations.
