RECRUITMENT OF FOREST GUARD ON CONTRACT BASIS Applications are invited for filling up 10 posts of Forest Guards on contract basis through Direct Recruitment on the prescribed proforma. The recruitment of Forest Guards will be made as per instructions contained in Notification No.FFE-A(B)2-2/2010 dated 20 th September, 201 of Principal Secretary ( Forests) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The Contractual Forest Guards will be paid Rs.910-20200+2000 G.P. on monthly basis. The successful candidates have to sign an agreement with the Divisional Forest officer concerned as per terms and conditions laid down for contractual appointments. Desirous candidates can apply for recruitment of Forests Guard on prescribed application form fulfilling the terms and conditions for appointment to the post of Forest Guard by th February, 201 in person or through mail on any working day. The candidates residing in Tribal Areas can apply on or before 22 nd February, 201. The category wise number of Forest Guards to be recruited on contract basis are as under :- Category Nos of posts. ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA:
1. The candidate musts be a citizen of India and should be a Bonafide Himachali. 2. The candidate must have passed 10+2 Examination from recognized Education Board.. The candidate must have his/her name registered in Employment Exchange in H.P.. The minimum age of candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 0 years.. In case of ST/SC/OBC minimum age relaxation up to years would be admissible.. The candidates full filling the minimum of prescribed physical standards and physical Efficiency Test would only qualify for written and interview depending up on Marks obtained at various levels of recruitment process.. A merit list of participating candidates will be draw for taking written/ viva voce depending on their combined merit. Intimation in this regard will be given separately during this process. Candidates who will qualify Physical Efficiency Test will be allowed to appear in the written test. The date and venue of written test shall also be displayed on the Notice Board of the Circle Office on the same evening or latest by next morning. The written test will be of minutes duration consisting of 80 objective type questions. This will be a 10 +2 or equivalent standard examination and will consist of questions on general knowledge, Language, General Science, General Knowledge about forests, environment and wild life of Himachal Pradesh, reasoning and aptitude etc. Candidates will bring with them own Blue/Black ball pens and a board for writing in the written test. After obtaining the total marks in the PET and written test the merit list shall be prepared category-wise for the purpose of calling the candidates for personality test. ii) Duly filled in proforma be sent to Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Circle Dharamshala. iii) After scrutinizing the application form, all candidate will be informed about physical test and also through 2 local News papers for Physical Efficiency Test. In case, any candidate does not receive the information regarding date, time and venue for Physical test, he may contact Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) Circle Dharamshala office in person or telephonically. iv) Applications received after the last date will not be entertained. v) Incomplete application forms will be summarily rejected. vi) In case the PET/Personality Test is not completed on the scheduled date, the same will continue on the next day. vii) Applicants must bring with them following certificates at the time of Physical Efficiency Test and Personality Test:- a) Educational Qualification Certificate; b) SC/ST/OBC/wards of Freedom Fighters/IRDP/Antodaya. c) N.C.C./N.S.S./Sports and other curriculum activities. d) Registration certificate from Employment Exchange. viii) Candidates belonging to SC/ST coming for PET and Personality Test from more than 2 Km., shall be entitled for minimum bus fare. ix) In case candidate does not appear for PET/Personality on scheduled date and time, his candidature will be cancelled. x) Competent Authority has right to reject/accept/or cancel & change in the number of posts without assigning any reason. xi) Only those candidates can apply for this post who have got their names registered with any Employment Exchange in Himachal Pradesh. xii) Appointed candidates on Contract basis shall have no right for regularization to the post and this will be not be challengeable in any court of law. xiii) xiv) The candidate should bring pass port size photographs for PET.
